Artwork description: Since I was young, I’ve always had a rich imagination, dreaming about my own pure and innocent world. This world contained unicorns, clouds, flying islands, and loads of pink. To illustrate such naive and original creativity, I created this piece in my current teenage years while looking back at my childhood. There are a variety of colors to represent each individual symbol. Specifically, pink relates to the floweriness and the bright, happy vibe of a child’s imaginations. Unicorns, butterflies, hearts, and even the background are parts of the artwork consisting the color pink. This illustrates the innocence and vibrance I once possessed as a kid, enhancing the colorful and vibrant childhood. Additionally, using blue relates to the futuristic vibe the piece contains, reflecting my innocent, child-like imaginations of the future. For the remaining teen years, I want to continue living a joyful and happy life, as I wished for.
