- Middle School Division (Grades 6–8)
- High School Division (Grades 9–12)
- College, University & Graduate School Division
- General Division (Under 30 years old)
※ Team entries are allowed with up to 3 members per team.

Echoes of Impression Awards – Categories Overview.
We welcome a wide range of creative expressions. Please review the categories below and select the one that best fits your work.
1. Fine Art Categories
For works that express personal emotion, creativity, and artistic vision through traditional or experimental media.
- Drawing & Painting: Explore ideas through pencil, acrylic, watercolor, oil, or mixed media on canvas or paper.
- Sculpture: Three-dimensional artworks made from any material—clay, wood, metal, found objects, and more.
- Ceramics & Glass: Handcrafted pieces such as pottery, tile work, or glass sculpture that reflect both form and function.
- Photography: Original photographic works, digital or film-based, including portrait, documentary, abstract, or conceptual images.
- Comic Art & Cartoons: Illustrated storytelling through sequential panels or single-image cartoons—webtoons, zines, and more are welcome.
2. Design Categories
Industrial Design: Product concepts, physical prototypes, or 3D models of everyday objects reimagined with purpose and beauty.
- Visual Communication Design: Graphic design, branding, editorial layouts, and other forms of visual storytelling that communicate ideas through typography, color, and composition.
- UX·UI (Web & App): interface design for digital platforms including websites and mobile apps, with a focus on user experience and usability.
- Fashion Design: Clothing, costume, or wearable art pieces that reflect original style, narrative and thoughtful construction.
3. Architecture & Interior Design Categories
For spatial design projects that explore structure, atmosphere, and user experience in physical environments.
- Architecture: Conceptual or built designs of spaces, buildings, or environments that challenge convention and innovate structure.
- Interior Design: Interior spaces designed for human use—exploring mood, layout, materials, and spatial storytelling.
Artwork Submission Guidelines
- File Size: Under 5MB
- Formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG
- No restrictions on materials (digital, mixed media, traditional—all accepted)
- Artwork Description: In English, max 150 words
- Important: If there are no suitable submissions in a category, no award may be given for that section.

General Judging Criteria
All submitted works will be evaluated by a panel of professional artists, designers, and educators.
Each entry will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
1. Originality & Creativity
Does the work demonstrate a unique concept or fresh perspective?
We value bold, personal, and imaginative approaches that go beyond the obvious.
2. Artistic or Design Excellence
Is the work technically strong and well-executed?
This includes composition, craftsmanship, layout, color use, and attention to detail.
3. Concept & Expression
Does the work effectively express an idea, story, or emotion?
We look for meaningful content that reflects thoughtful intention and creative voice.
4. Relevance to the Chosen Category
Does the work align with the selected category (e.g., Fine Art, Design, Architecture)?
Entries should clearly fit within the category’s purpose and expectations.
5. Impact & Impression
Does the work leave a lasting impression?
We are drawn to works that provoke thought, inspire curiosity, or emotionally resonate with the audience.
Additional Notes
- Architecture: Conceptual or built designs of spaces, buildings, or environments that challenge convention and innovate structure.
- Interior Design: Interior spaces designed for human use—exploring mood, layout, materials, and spatial storytelling.
Additional Judging Criteria for each Category
All works will be evaluated by a panel of professional artists, designers, architects, and educators.
Each submission will be judged based on the criteria most relevant to its category.
1. Fine Art Categories
- Originality & Personal Voice: Does the work show a distinct point of view or emotional depth?
- Artistic Technique: Is the work well-crafted in terms of composition, color, form, and material handling?
- Expression & Impact: Does it communicate a feeling, idea, or story that resonates with the viewer?
2. Design Categories
- Creativity & Innovation: Does the work solve a problem or present an idea in a new and inventive way?
- Functionality & Purpose: Does the design meet a clear goal or audience need (especially in UX/UI & ID)?
- Visual Communication: Is the layout clear, the messaging strong, and the use of type, color, and hierarchy effective?
3. Architecture & Interior Design Categories
- Concept & Spatial Thinking: Does the work show thoughtful planning and creative use of space?
- Technical & Structural Clarity: Are drawings, diagrams, or models presented with precision and professionalism?
- Human Experience & Usability: How well does the space consider user needs, emotions, and daily life?
In all categories, presentation quality and file clarity will also be considered.
If a submission does not meet the minimum standards in its category, no award may be given.
